Budapest should not be overlooked! Not only is it beautiful, it is also one of the most affordable cities in Europe! Here are some of our favorite Budapest activities with kids!

HERE ARE SOME OF OUR FAVORITES!
1️⃣. Take a swim at one of the many Hungarian Thermal Bathhouses. Our favorite was Szenchenyi!
2️⃣. Ride the Budapest Eye Ferris Wheel
3️⃣. Take a guided tour through the complicated, fascinating, and sometimes tragic history of Budapest. (Budapest was occupied by both the Nazi's and the Soviet's.) The best spot where it all converges is at Liberty Square.
4️⃣. Play in the many parks and fountains!
5️⃣. Take a night time boat tour and see the city from the water! Budapest is best viewed from the water with the sparkling lights and majestic buildings. This was one of our favorite activities!! We booked through www.mypersonalbudapest.com and had an absolute BLAST!
6️⃣. Ride the UNESCO World Heritage funicular up Castle Hill. It costs $11 and your littles will love it.

Points & Miles are another form of currency that you can use to book travel and they are *MAGIC*
Like abracadabra, rabbit coming out of the hat, magic!!!! 🌟
So how does it work?
We ditched our debit card years ago and we responsibly and strategically use our credit cards for every purchase.
This means that every-time we use a credit card on anything, we are earning points and miles that we can use to book *steeply* discounted travel (I’m talking 1/10th of the normal cost).
We aren’t in credit card debt, we have a healthy and growing savings and investment accounts, our credit scores are over 800… and I teach hundreds of other families just like yours how to do it too.

Hauling around all that baby crap is NO JOKE and I am embarrassed to admit that I have spent way too much money and time trying out all of the baby travel gear that promises to make my life easier (but it usually doesn’t!) 🤦🏼‍♀️
✈️Here are four things that *actually* do make my life easier when I’m traveling with my babies or toddlers. 👶🏼 ⬇️

1. A solid lightweight and durable umbrella stroller with flexible wheels that can lay all of the way down for naps.  
2. A lightweight car seat that meets FAA and EASA requirements, that I CAN CARRY. (Why are some car seats 40lbs?!)  
3. A cheap but durable luggage strap that can connect the car seat and stroller together for crazy easy navigation through the airport!  
4. An iPad holder that connects to the airplane seat with pockets for toys, sippy cups/bottles, and snacks!
It’s only taken us hundreds of flights to figure this combo out but I promise you that it’s about as perfect as they come!

Alright, here’s the truth…
There isn’t always going to be some awesome flight deal, or mistake fare for every destination you want to go to!
Wouldn’t that be awesome though? (A girl can dream right?!)💁🏼‍♀️
BUT… there are some things that you can consistently do to help you find and book flights for less. ⬇️
1️⃣ Being flexible with your dates by a day or two will hands down consistently save you the most money (or points!).   I always like to use the “flexible” date calendars for this. Each airline has one, you can also find them on sites like Google Flights or Skyscanner!
2️⃣ Utilize flight aggregators and set up free price trackers!   At any given time I have about 10 flight trackers going for destinations we are dying to visit as a family.   ✨*More on how to do this below!*  
3️⃣ Don’t wait until the last minute. Occasionally you can find great “last minute” fare but this is the exception, not the norm.   According to Travel & Leisure, the typical sweet spot to book airfare is 6-9 months in advance.  
4️⃣ Follow flight deal accounts! These accounts send out flight deals and they can be a great resource!   There are a whole bunch of them that are awesome, here are some of the ones I love and use consistently ⬇️  @flightsfromhome for SLC Based Flights (Hey, hey fellow Utahns!👋🏻) Since we are based out of SLC this is the account I use the most!
