⭐️Stay at the Disney Dolphin, Swan, or Swan Reserve Deluxe Disney Resorts on Marriott Points 🙌🏻 at Disney World. (These properties are beautiful 5 Star Disney properties that are listed under the Marriott portfolio so you can use your Marriott points!
Side note: We have stayed at both the Swan and the Dolphin and found that we liked the Swan a little bit better! 🦢

⭐️Check out Dave’s Vacation Club Rentals! Stay at a Disney Vacation Club WITHOUT being a member and on a discount! 🙌🏻

⭐️Consider staying off property at a Disney Good Neighbor Marriott or Hyatt property on points! For our upcoming trip to Disneyland we are staying at the recently renovated 4-Star Sheraton Park Resort that is only a 5 minute walk from Disneyland! We got rooms for our family of six and are only paying $367.00 TOTAL for five nights and two rooms (so ten hotel nights total 🙌🏻! (We used Marriott points to cover the total cost of one room and then applied our $300.00 credit from our Capital One Venture X Card alongside some other credits to cover most of our other room!)

⭐️Fly to your Disney vacation using companion passes OR use points/miles (The Southwest companion pass is a DREAM for families or the Delta Companion pass is a decent option as well. We flew our whole family of six from SLC to Orlando on Delta non-stop flights for Christmas last year for only $11.20 per person round trip using some Delta Skymiles that we had!)

⭐️IF points and miles aren’t an option for you, start setting up some Google Flight price trackers! There are often some awesome flight discounts that come around to California and Orlando! We have seen round-trip flights from SLC to Orlando for as low as $113 a person.

HUGE news in the travel world today as the US Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) has released a new online form for passangers to see EXACTLY what their rights are when a flight is cancelled or delayed.

The best part, the D.O.T. has locked the airlines in following through! This means with this form you can insist on getting rebooked, a hotel stay, meal vouchers etc… This will make huge improvements as flights are inevitably delayed or canceled because you will know exactly what you are entitled to and how to get it. 🙌🏻

If you gifted your family a trip, where would you go?! ✈️🌎♥️

This morning our cute little blended family woke up to cookies, Vanilla Coke, and candy for breakfast and then had to decode the destination of our next family trip! (It’s a few months out, one of the hardest parts of being a blended family is organizing schedules when everyone can go but we wanted to surprise them with it today to celebrate!)

I absolutely love giving experiences for presents and I LOVE this little blended family of mine. And the best part is, we’re getting more than half of this trip for free by using our credit card points and miles 🙌🏻

Phew!!! 😅 I don’t know about you but between inflation, increased costs (on almost everything) and our kids getting older, our budget is getting tighter 😩!

And to be honest, if we weren’t using booking hacks, and maximizing our credit card points and miles we simply wouldn’t be traveling like we are right now!

So….. here are ….⬇️⬇️⬇️

✈️ 3 THINGS TO DO IF YOU WANT TO TRAVEL MORE FOR LESS AND YOU AREN’T SURE WHERE TO START ⬇️✈️

1️⃣. Ditch your debit card and switch out the plastic that you are using! Get a decent reward travel credit card and start using it on your everyday purchases and then pay it off every month! You want to use it like your debit card BUT be earning points from it. And you don’t need to go crazy here, just one card works fine at first 🙌🏻. (See the “start here” bubble to find what card I recommend most!)

2️⃣ Start a small travel budget, and put a little bit away each month. It doesn’t have to be big, but start somewhere. Contribute to it as a family and watch it grow.

3️⃣ Use price trackers! I can not even begin to tell you how much price tracking has saved me. (You can see my 5 Google Flight Hacks #linkinbio on how to set them up for free)

And that’s it! Start there and you’ll be shocked by how far these three hacks can take you!
